The situation of the hotel, 10 minutes from the main square. the dealings with the extraordinary young staff (the room my daughters were given was missing a set of towels, which was quickly solved by the boy in charge of the reception, a 10 for him).
The room that we had an interior in my case, had humidity in the ceiling, the walls were very thin, you could hear everything, including drains. The breakfast that was included in the reservation we had to do in a cafeteria attached to the hotel, does not have a dining room. I thought it was ridiculous that they charged me an extra euro to order two slices of ham for a toast, it was supposed to be breakfast included and I don't think they were going to be ruined by having that detail, that courtesy with the client.

It's a beautiful hotel for one star. It's a clean, cozy room. Pleasant interior. Enough shelves and drawers to accommodate things. Several sockets. There's even a safe, I didn't use it. It was quiet at the hotel itself. My windows overlooked a quiet street with no car traffic. It was only when the window was open that I could hear the residents of the next house... hotel doesn't block money in advance. Payment on check-out. hotel is conveniently located between the railway station and old town. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the train station and 5 minutes to get to the old town.
There's no air conditioning in the room, there's a fan. But it's one star. The shower cubicle is tight. I was fine, but it's not going to be comfortable for a big man. There's no one sitting in reception all the time, because the staff perform several functions. On arrival, I was registered by an employee working in a restaurant, on departure - an employee who killed the rooms. But I wasn't looking for anyone and wasn't waiting for anyone. I was immediately seen and processed. The truth is, I told them in advance what time I would arrive. The key to the number is a magnetic card, but there's no arrow on it. If you can't open the room door, just turn the card the other way.

The area around the hotel is so lively, with plenty of bars, shops, and even souvenirs from Guijuelo. The hotel offers great amenities like 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi. Parking is also available. It really emphasizes customer satisfaction!
They provided me with a personal concierge to cater to my every need. Can you believe it?

Loved the lively area with its endless shops and restaurants, especially the 24-hour reception where I could check out at any time. Parking facilities were amazing, but who needs a car when the public transport system is just 50m away?
So nice of them to start cleaning my room before I even checked out. I felt like a surprise guest in my own hotel room.

The friendly staff who gave local tips. The proximity of the train station. The historic city center is easy to find.
The rooms do not have airco. But okay, for the room price this was okay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the center of everything. The location is excellent, with great proximity to many attractions downtown. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We also loved the hotel facilities, especially the wonderful shower and the separate toilet and shower areas. Additionally, the art displayed throughout the hotel was phenomenal, adding to the unique atmosphere.

The staff was very friendly. The manager told us where were all the places we could visit and where we could eat. Better than in a Tourist Office. The rooms were clean and well heated. Wifi in all rooms.

We had a fantastic stay at Residencia Castellano I in Salamanca. The friendly staff, especially the helpful Spanish receptionist, made our check-in experience excellent. Despite our limited Spanish, they went out of their way to provide detailed descriptions of the tourist attractions on a map. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center and train station. We also enjoyed the good value breakfast served in the adjoining bar. Another highlight was receiving great advice from the front desk staff on finding cheap and excellent tapas. The hotel's quiet location on a peaceful street ensured a peaceful night's sleep.
Everything was spot on! 👍
